This is a film that will have your children laughing one minute and crying the next. The story involves three talking lab mice out to help Gru save his fairytale world from being taken over by rival minions led by an evil Dr. Nefario. It is a movie that has something for everyone. It is suitable for all ages, so you need not worry about what your children are watching. It has action, mystery, romance and comedy. The minions are the hit of the show with their unique voices and often out-of-the-box thinking. Minions will go down in history as one of the greatest comic creations of all time.There is no foul language or violence in this movie. There may be some scary situations like the minions getting swallowed by Gru's dog, but it should not put parents off allowing their children to watch this movie.It is another great movie produced by Illumination Entertainment (also responsible for Despicable Me 2 which was recently released. Despicable Me is a triumph in animation. The story is cute, the animation is excellent and the songs are catchy. This movie deserves to be up there with all of the greats. It will be loved by both parents and children. I rate Despicable Me 5/5 stars because it is well worth watching!This movie is suitable for kids 6 years old and above, but kids below 6 might find it too violent, so it would be better if they have seen other animations before this one. This movie costs only RM10 for a Blu-Ray disc at Walmart.
